  • Job Description
    The Management department is subdivided into Audit, Managerial Planning, Business Division Planning, Innovation Support, Business Strategy Planning, New Business Planning, and Foreign Market Planning functions. Each function seeks to contribute to creating value through supporting business activities and managerial innovation based on professional competences.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Management department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Business, Economics, Accounting or Electronic Engineering is required.
    Applicants with English proficiency will be preferred.

Finance

  • Job Description

    The Finance department is subdivided into the Treasury, Accounting, Tax and Investor Relations (IR) functions.

    • The finance sector aims at minimizing financial risk (foreign exchange/interest rates/liquidity), allocating and operating financial resources efficiently, and supporting strategic enterprise projects.
    • The Accounting and Tax divisions are responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to internal/external clients, and for supporting the achievement of managerial objectives through improving the quality of information by securing asset quality and protecting firm values. They are also responsible for correctly reporting tax related issues, for monitoring tax risks to minimize tax liabilities, and for supporting operating departments.
    • The IR division is responsible for increasing the firm’s market value through the exchange of investment information with the investor community.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Finance department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Electronic Engineering is required. Applicants with English proficiency will be preferred.

HR

  • Job Description

    The HR department is subdivided into Human Resources, Training, and Labor Relations functions.

    • The Human Resources division is responsible for managing the recruitment, placement, training, evaluation, compensation, promotion and resignation of employees in accordance with the firm’s overall business strategy.
    • The Training division builds and executes Training/Promoting systems to improve the competency of the organization and its employees.
    • The Labor Relations division seeks to build value-creating labor-management relationships based on trust and respect.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the HR department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Business, Law, or Psychology is required. LS Cable & System recruits foreign talent extensively, therefore applicants with English proficiency (native speaker level) or proficiency in any other second language will be preferred.

Supply Management

  • Job Description

    The Supply Management department is subdivided into Materials, Purchasing, and Logistics functions.

    • The Materials division is responsible for supporting smooth production activities by providing materials in a timely manner by working closely with the production facilities. The Purchasing division utilizes various information channels to discover, select and evaluate potential suppliers, and analyzes and forecasts market changes to maintain adequate purchase unit prices.
    • The Logistics function establishes, maintains and develops the logistics process, which takes care of the flawless packaging, storage, loading and unloading, and transporting until the product reaches the customer. It discovers and nurtures related corporations to maintain the highest level of services.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Supply Management department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Logistics, Business, or Science and Engineering is required. Applicants with English or Chinese proficiency will be preferred.

Environment and Safety

  • Job Description

    The Environment and Safety department is subdivided into the Environment and Safety function.

    • The Environment division processes waste materials from business activities in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, and continuously promotes environmentally friendly campaigns. The Safety division constructs state-of-the-art ESH systems to pre-empt harmful and dangerous factors from the workplace, thereby preventing accidents and improving employee health by creating comfortable and pleasant working environments.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Environment and Safety department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Environmental Engineering or Safety Engineering is required. According to job function, Engineer Industrial Safety, 1st grade Engineer Environment, Fire Safety Manager, Engineer Wastes Treatment, Engineer Fire Protection System, Engineer Hazardous Material, Engineer Gas Safety, Engineer Industrial Hygiene certificate holders are preferred.

Legislation

  • Job Description

    The General Affairs role contributes to the achievement of business objectives by providing competitive services, enhancing internal/external customer satisfaction, and leading corporate culture.
    Emergency Planning roles are to plan, execute and evaluate support programs for employees to fulfill military duties for the nation, company and customers. Domestic Sales & Marketing

  • Job Description

    Domestic Sales & Marketing can be divided into Private sector Sales and Public sector Sales.

    • The role of Private Sales is to forecast consumer needs and market situations, targeting purchasers and potential consumers. They act as the bridge between consumers and the company, and contribute to goal achievement through product commission and sales.
    • The role of Public sector Sales is to fulfill customer needs through close sales activities, and contribute to profit maximization through product commission and sales.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Domestic Sales & Marketing department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Electric or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Administration is required. For Business Administration majors, applicants with basic knowledge in electric / mechanical fields will be preferred.

Overseas Sales & Marketing

  • Job Description
    Overseas Sales & Marketing contributes to the company’s profits by expanding market presence and maximizing sales based on sales activities to find customers in overseas markets.   • Qualifications

A major in Electric, Electronic, Communications or Marine Engineering, Chemistry, or Business departments is required. Technical Sales

  • Job Description

    Technical Sales jobs are divided into power, overhead wire, and nuclear job duties.

    • Technical Sales- The Power division orders projects by technology review and bidding of local and overseas power cable projects. The division creates new demand by contributing to successful project execution through project design and technical support.
    • Technical Sales- The Overhead Wire division orders projects after technical review of bids for local and overseas overhead wires (OPGW, ACSR) and installation markets. It contributes to successful project execution through project design and technical support.
    • Technical Sales- The Nuclear division achieves set goals and enhances nuclear sales by winning project orders, optimization of nuclear design, and management of project orders.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Technical Sales department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Electric / Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration is required. Certificate holders for Engineer Electric Work, Engineer Air-conditioning Refrigerating Machinery, etc will be preferred.

Development Design

  • Job Description
    The Product Development Design divisions develop and design products based on customer (product consumers, sales, production, inspection) needs, and provide stipulated formats and data.   • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Development Design department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in Electric / Electronic / Mechanical / Chemical / ComputerCVdfdhe Engineering, Communications, Chemistry, Information, or Computer Science is required. According to job duty, applicants with a master’s degree or relevant technical skills will be preferred.

Manufacturing Technology

  • Job Description
    The Manufacturing Technology division aims at enhancing productivity and complying with and improving process standards by producing products in accordance with customer requests, achieving on-time delivery and high product quality, and advancing preparation of production activities. A major in the fields of Electric / Mechanical / Polymers / Metal Engineering is required. Production Support

  • Job Description
    The Production Support department is responsible for supplying internal and external production resources, and process planning and management, for on-time delivery to customers and production efficiency through cost reduction. Furthermore, they plan and execute the communication of the Sales division’s requests to the Production divisions (Production/Development/QA), and ensure that the results of such requests (products) are delivered back to the Sales divisions. The Production Support division is segmented into product categories including magnet wires, copper foils, components, materials, etc.

    To be eligible for the Production Support department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in the fields of Industrial / Mechanical / Metal Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Business Administration is required.

Maintenance

  • Job Description

    The Maintenance department is divided into facilities maintenance, electric power, and construction.

    • The Facilities Maintenance division is responsible for maintaining production facilities in their optimized state for stable machinery operation and productivity enhancement.
    • The Electric Power division is responsible for maintaining power facilities in their optimized state for stable production activities, and creating a pleasant environment for production.
    • The Construction division is responsible for supporting customers’ competitiveness and creating an optimized production environment. To achieve this, their roles are construction and extension of plant buildings and structures which are the foundations of production facilities. They are also responsible for transfer/installation and management of facilities.

    To be eligible for the Maintenance department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in the fields of Industrial / Mechanical / Metal Engineering, Natural Sciences, or Business Administration is required.

Production Engineering

  • Job Description

    The Production Engineering department is divided into facilities rationalization, productivity management, and machinery production engineering.

    • The Facilities Rationalization division is responsible for the optimization of facilities through specialized technology on facilities, processes and products.
    • The Productivity Management division is responsible for maximizing company profits through cost reduction and productivity enhancement in each division, which is achieved by IE technology, productivity management and plant and equipment investment management.
    • The Machinery Production Engineering division is responsible for supporting efficient production activities through operation standards management, flexible production systems, and advance preparation for other production conditions.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Production Engineering department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in the fields of Mechanical / Electric / Metal / Electronic Engineering, or Computer Sciences is required. According to the job characteristics, IE Level 1 engineers, CPIM, mechanical engineers, factory management engineers, electrical engineers, and other relevant certificate holders will be preferred.

Construction

  • Job Description

    The Construction department is divided into construction support and construction.

    • The Construction Support division is responsible for quality, safety, equipment, public affairs, finance, and team planning jobs for construction projects at local and foreign sites. The Construction division is responsible for meeting customer needs (quality, on-time completion, etc) and securing optimum profitability through process and quality management of local and foreign underground/overhead projects.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Construction department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in the fields of Electric or Industrial Engineering is required. Certificate holders for electric engineers and construction engineers will be preferred. Applicants with English communication proficiency will also be preferred.

Quality

  • Job Description
    • The Quality Assurance division secures the quality system to provide optimized products to customers. It can be divided again into magnet wires, materials, components, and tractors.
    • The Quality Management division aims at securing corporate quality management systems through promoting execution improvement, product safety management, eco-friendly quality assurance and quality assurance of inputs. It is responsible for building the overarching quality system and achieving quality goals.
  • Qualifications
    To be eligible for the Quality department, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree (4-year university program) or above. A major in the fields of Electric / Industrial / Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical and Electronics / Communications Engineering, or Physics is required. Certificates for quality engineers, quality assurance engineers, electric engineers, ISO certification examiner, quality assurance examiner, ISO/QS international examiner, 6 Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

Research & Development

  • Job Description
    The R&D department is responsible for the research and development of new products based on technology related to polymers, metals, machinery, and optical components. It aims at contributing to customer satisfaction, company sales and company profits, and is in charge of technical support for relevant divisions. R&D is segmented into polymers, metals, machinery, energy, application components, and communications.   • Qualifications

A major in the fields of Electric / Electronic / Communications / Chemical / Metal / Machinery / Industrial Engineering is required. According to job duty, applicants with a Master’s or Doctoral degree will be preferred. Applicants with specialized knowledge or technology will be preferred.

R&D Support

  • Job Description

    The R&D Support department is divided into technology planning, and patents.

    • The R&D Planning division is responsible for R&D planning to enhance R&D performance through sales management of resources and new products.
    • The Patents division contributes to business goals through obtaining rights for technology and products developed by the company. It is responsible for developing effective countermeasures for competitors’ patents, and efficient patent support activities.
