Photovoltaic cable (SOLARSOL)

It is classified into marine and land photovoltaic cables. It can be manufactured in various structures depending on user environment and at the request of customers.

Vessel Cables

JIS C 3410 cables are mostly used for transportation vessels (container ships, bulk ships, car carrying ships, LNG ships etc.) The requirements for cables are increasing to prepare for fire hazards while transporting cargo or crude oil in the isolated areas at sea. Low toxicity, flame retardant, low-fire properties are required, and recently, due the opening of new sea-lanes in polar regions, high cold resistance is also being required.

Marine Cables

Marine cables are produced based on Norway Std. It is widely used as an off-shore cable for FPSO, rigs and drill-ships. Drilling fluid resistance (Mud resistance) is applicable, and is superior in chemical and oil resistance compared to other cables.

Navy Vessel Cables

Navy vessel cables are produced based on military standards. They are produced according to the purposes and characteristics of the vessels to which they are applied, such as surface warships, submarines and amphibious military vessels capable of high-mobility. There are watertight and non-watertight types available according to requirements. 

Railway Cables

Wind Power Cables

Cables are a key component of wind power generators. The cable running from the generator at the top of the structure to the ground must have enough strength and flexibility to withstand the powerful torsional stresses placed on it as the generator rotates according to wind flow. After many years of research, LS Cable & System has developed both low and high voltage products that have a lifecycle of more than thirty years and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 90℃. According to customer needs, we provide services such as cutting and pre-fabrication of connecting materials.
